This week with TTR: In good hands!

Hi friends,

What a run! Last week's climb of Tanzawa was truly epic, between steep hikes, powdery snow, glorious Fuji views and a fun descent.

This week we take it a bit easier, with two pretty local runs (one in the Hanno area, one from Mitaka), to catch our breath and start planning for Spring.

Keep following our newsletter and our Facebook page for more announcements and updates.

Let's enjoy an easy long run from the very heart of Tokyo.
After starting in Mitaka station, we will take the charmingly treed pedestian road of the Tamako Jitensha-do, which will take us straight to Tama lake.
After a beautiful run on the dam, we will reach the midway point of Seibukyujo-mae, where beginners can stop if they prefer.

Intermediate runners will continue north of Sayama lake and, after a quick stop at the Totoro foundation "Makkuro-kurosuke" house, will take the fun wide trails going all the way to our destination of Hakonegasaki.

Beautiful trails in Okumusashi, with two amazing temples, and a charming shrine, plus some trail surprises. In TTR style, one or two sections are slightly wild. There are light foods and drinks available at both temples. There will likely be some sections with remaining snow, but crampons are not presently considered necessary.

It's beautiful, and you get some early spring plum blossoms, plus some cultural insights at the two temples.

FAQ
-12 runners maximum
-Please do not park a car at Agano Station, as it may result in some difficulties. If you would like to drive to the start, contact Robert by pm for more information)
