This week with TTR: 1,600 times thank you!

Hi friends,

The 2025 edition of the Okumusashi Long Trail is now over, with 1,600 runners navigating rugged, stormy terrain. There were real emergencies with missing runners, injuries, even a near-death scare, but quick action from volunteers made a life-saving difference.

And in the end, everyone finished safely, thanks to an extraordinary team of over 60 dedicated volunteers who cut through the chaos with knowledge, heart, and serious fun. Thank you for living this adventure with us and many more to come!

Two runs this weekend in the West Tokyo area, plus volunteering chances in Hanno.

Let's enjoy a quick, relaxing run! We will start in Hamura station at 9 and end in Ome station around 13. This Beginners course is 14.7km long, with an elevation gain of 689 m, and is open to 20 participants. (Effort: 1/5 - Technique: 1/5 - Exposure: 1/5)

🌦 Event will still be held under light rain
👟 Trail running shoes required.
💧 Bring at least 1 liter of water (there are vending machines along the way).
🎒 The start and finish stations are separate, so please carry all your luggage with you.
♨ If you wish, you can use a nearby hot spring after the finish.
⚠ To avoid startling hikers on the course, do not run straight through, but stop to greet and pass them. Greet other trail runners as well.
🕶 High temperatures expected. Hat, suncream and 1L of water required"

💧 水を最低1リットルは持って来て下さい(途中に自販機もあります)。
🎒 スタートとゴールは別の駅なので荷物は全部持って移動して下さい。
♨ 希望者はゴール後近くの温泉を利用できます何人か行くと思います。
⚠ コース上のハイカーを驚かせないよう、そのまま走り抜けず止まって挨拶して抜きましょう。他のトレイルランナーにも挨拶しましょう。
🕶 高温が予想される。帽子、日焼け止めクリーム、1Lの水が必要。
